& Allergies
Though uncommon, food allergies can have serious consequences. The incidence
of true food allergy is about 1% - 2% in adults, and 5% - 8% in children.
In one study of prevalence of allergies in Australian Infants, the prevalence
of soy allergy was 0.1%.
Soyfoods often take place of the more allergenic foods, such as cow's milk
and eggs.
